How to activate D-BOX haptics in Condor 2

Read the step-by-step procedure below which will allow you to enable D-BOX haptics for Condor 2.

1. 

ACCOUNT & SUBSCRIPTION (1st time only)

If not already done, create your D-BOX Connect account.

SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD (1st time only)

If not already done, download and install the latest version of D-BOX Motion Core or HaptiSync Center Software.  It is available in the Software Downloads section of our website.   

If you have a Motion 1 chair and have installed Master Plus+ already, you can skip this step.

ACTIVATION (1st time only)

Make sure your computer is activated and linked to your D-BOX Connect account using either the Game Center or the HaptiSync Center

Open the D-BOX Game Center or the D-BOX HaptiSync Center.

LOG IN

When prompted, login to your D-BOX Connect account.

If using the Game Center:

Set the HaptiSync Mode to D-BOX Coded Gaming.

Select Condor 2 and click on Install to install the haptic code  (this needs to be done the first time you want to play the game or when there is an update to the haptic code).

If using the HaptiSync Center:

In the HaptiSync Mode section, set the HaptiSync Mode to D-BOX Coded Gaming.

Click Library to access the gaming haptic code library and select Condor 2 to install the haptic code.

7.

Using Windows Explorer, open the file named ‘UDP.ini’.

It is located in ‘Settings’ folder within the game installation folder (Condor2/Settings).

In the Misc section of the UDP.ini file, set the following variables:

  • SendIntervalMs=10
  • ExtendedData=1.

In the same file, add a new line:

  • ExtendedData1=1
It should look like this:

You can now save the file.

9. Launch the Condor 2 game.
10. Initiate the haptics either by clicking Launch (if your game is detected by the HaptiSync Center) or by launching “Condor2 Live Haptics” from the Windows Start Menu (mandatory for this game).
