What features does the new software offer? |
|
2 |
If I install this new app, will my existing profiles remain intact? |
Yes, all of your game-specific settings and profiles will remain unchanged and intact. |
3 |
Is it necessary to uninstall Motion Core prior to installing the HaptiSync Center? Do I just need to install this software on top of the old one? |
No. The installer for HaptiSync Center will automatically uninstall Motion Core. |
4 |
Is the upgrade automatic? |
No, the upgrade is not automatic. To ensure a gradual roll-out of the software, the HaptiSync Center has not been included in our auto-updater. You will need to download the software directly from our website. |

I tried installing the software but I get this error message: Error opening file for writing: C:\ProgramData\D-BOX\MotionService\dbxService64.dll |
It appears that a D-BOX program is still running on your system, likely a game-specific motion enabler. To resolve this issue, please restart your PC to ensure that all software is closed, and then attempt to install the software again. |
6 |
Can I use this software to control my HaptiSync Hub ? |
Unfortunately, no. This software is for Windows PC only. |
7 |
I migrated from Game Center to HaptiSync Center and I now have a hardware fault. Is it related? |
The HaptiSync Center serves as the user interface, while the underlying systems and firmware remain unchanged during the transition from Game Center to HaptiSync Center. Consequently, any hardware issues you may be experiencing are unrelated to this migration. |

We are a D-BOX integrator and have custom haptic code. Could we encounter issues related to the SDK we are using in our code to operate the D-BOX system, as well as with the use of the corresponding DLL? |
No. The new HSC has no impact on Live Motion. Also, Motion Service is the same either in Motion Core or HaptiSync Center. |
